Tara & Nick: A New Years Eve Wedding
The Red Barn at Outlook Farm

“I chose to look away from my camera and just for a moment watch with my own two eyes”.

This was one of those “best case scenario” kind of weddings.

“Okay… holy crap… you guys… just keep laughing and dancing like you are… this looks gorgeous.”

Tara and Nick didn’t need much direction from me. It was one of those moments in life where for a moment I chose to look away from my camera and just for a moment watch with my own two eyes. It’s these . little moments I steal for myself that ground me in why I film weddings. How lucky I felt to be tasked with preserving and documenting these beautiful and fleeting moments for Tara and Nick. Two incredibly kind souls who decided earlier that day that dating wasn’t good enough for them. That they wanted to promise a lifetime of commitment and friendship to each other. There was no fear in their hearts. They were as calm and confident in their choices as the snowflakes they embraced between.

I was just so happy for them… okay back to my camera.

“What even…? Holy buckets you two. Wait till you see this shot later on.”
